Al, I know it's been said many times already, but if there's even the slightest thing I or any of us can do for you, just say the word. My voice was cracking and I was on the verge of tears just reading your post aloud to Joanne just now, I simply cannot begin to comprehend the pain you're in.

Al, I'm glad to hear from you.

You've been a good and constant friend for many years now, and it's heartbreaking to know that you're going through all of this, away from many people who love and respect you.

Please stay well, and we look forward to seeing you soon.
I paid for the whole rev meter, so I'm sure as hell going to use the whole rev meter.

Not much I can say mate, or nothing that will make much of a difference. As you've seen here and by other means, you're cared about by many people and I hope you can take comfort in that.

Al,it must have been very difficult for you to even think about writing that message at this difficult time. I know exactly the pain you are going through having lost three of my family in the space of six months.
There is nothing anyone can say to you to make the pain any easier, but, we are all here for you and sharing your pain.
If it had not been for the current situation we are in I am sure that Vonny would have had her wishes of a Cougar convoy. I can not think of anyone associated with the Cougar club who would not have made the effort to be there to support you on Vonny's final journey.
She was an exceptional woman who was loved by everyone who's heart she touched. She is now at peace and sleeping with the angels where she deserves to be. RIP Vonnie, sadly missed by many.

Well, that brought a lump to my throat and tears to my eyes. Vonny was always the life and soul, especially at Fest, but really need to echo what Dick has said. Stay well Al and know that we are all here for you despite these awful times of lockdown. Thinking of you my dear friend.

My Coug may be gone, but never forgotten.....

    Brilliant words Dick, thank you.

Al, we'll be here for you whenever you're ready; please take comfort in the knowledge you're constantly in our thoughts and that at the earliest opportunity Vonny will get the Cougar convoy she'd hoped for and so righty deserves.
