    Default SOLD: 2000 'W' C1 2.5 V6 in Ebony (Wildcat)

I've decided to part with Tim's beloved "Wildcat" and call time on my Cougar ownership once and for all. For those who I spoke to about this at the Xmas do, this will come as no surprise. I have just not enjoyed being back in a Cougar as much as I thought I would - perhaps those pesky rose tinted glasses - and i think it is time to say goodbye to her.

Mileage is currently on 77,914 miles - and this won't change as she is now on SORN. MOT until 1st July 2019.

She comes with all the below:

    Standard C1 cloth interior
Speedhut Elglow dials with Cougar Head logos
    Kenwood CD Radio with USB
Cougar seatbelt pads front and rear
17" BK Racing BK563 alloys (shiny!). Some lacquer peeling on the polished areas.
    Lowered 35mm on PI springs
    Roush rear boot spoiler
MIJ Full Sport exhaust system with MIJ Sports cat (loud, but sounds lovely!)
Carbon wrapped (I think) No Limits front grille and front foglamp masks/front winglets
Chrome effect strip on both sides - looks really nice against the Ebony Black.
    SGS Gas struts on tailgate
Rear window and rear quarters tinted in Limo black

She will also come with the following spares and parts (which I intended to fit, but didn't get around to):

Smoked headlight covers (clip on) - for daytime or show use only.
Refurbed rear subframe (bought from Ricky) - was an advisory on the last MOT
ST200 Airbox and bellows with brand new, unopened Piper-X Performance panel filter
ST220 Throttle body (avoids swapping the throttle cable!)
Brand new genuine Ford UIM gaskets
Brand new Aircon rad/condensor (again, sourced form Ricky)
C2 Cruise steering wheel, modded cruise cable (to fit V6 manual) and red clutch switch
C2 HVAC surround and Headlight switch panels (could do with some cleanup/restoration)
Modded IMRC cover panel - with the raised lettering smoothed off. Again, could do with restoration)

There's probably a few other bits too, I'll add them if I discover them!

    Bad points:

Intermittent starting problem (see my Project thread for more details)
Rear subframe and fuel filler pipe were advisories on the last MOT
Passenger side doorcard is damaged - had to be forcibly removed when door solenoid failed (again, details in the project thread)
Only one side of the heated front screen works (passenger side I think)
Small crease/scrape above driver's side rear arch (came with the car when I bought it!)
Aircon doesn't work (you can hear the clutch engage/disengage intermittently when running) - hence the new aircon rad. Might just need a regas, might have a leak. Was working at Combe last year so may just need regassing.

As mentioned earlier, she is now on SORN so will need to be taxed/trailered away. Plenty of pics in the project thread.

I'm after £900 for her - which considering all the bits she comes with, ain't that bad a price (and what I paid for her!).

Somebody give her a good home, and lavish the love and attention on her that Tim did

    Some piccies......

Best of luck, someone's in for a bargain.

So I did. And it was.

Hi John, sorry to see this but do understand. A couple of points, the alloys are BK563, not Wolfrace. Also, aircon was working, she had a brand new aircon rad fitted about 5 years ago. Think she just needs a re-gas, as it was working when we took her to Combe last year. She also had a brand new clutch replaced about 6 years ago, so a lot lighter than the standard. She has uprated gas struts for the rear hatch due to the weight of the Roush spoiler. Windows have Limo tint, professionally fitted by Global Tint. She's also lowered by 35mm on PI springs.

Best of luck with selling her, just wish we were in a better financial situation to buy her back and spend the money she needs. I hope she goes to a good home.

    Little bump.

I'll leave it on the forum until we get back from our jollies then I'll be listing it on the Facebag group.

I think John should start a new "problem" thread then these posts can be moved into that thread to keep this thread clear. Its a shame when diags and fixs happen in classifieds only to be deleted.
